Exploring Japan III

Welcome to the final Japan post! This trip was so amazing it required three recaps. These were our last few days in Tokyo and a few wonderful days spent in Kyoto.

In Kyoto, we experienced some of the most beautiful temples and shrines, I especially loved the gorgeous red temples. We also visited Arashiyama, which is an area outside of Kyoto on the water. Many people visit there to go to the famous bamboo forest, which we did as well, but we were much more interested in the little town and all the adorable shops and the abundance of matcha and bamboo soft serve. We also had some of the best Japanese barbecue I've ever had during our stay in Kyoto.
